Seashore Sweater

I've created my first finished object from the lot of Handpaintedyarn.com handspun bulky that I bought from another Ravelry member! It's also my first self-designed sweater. I used 3 different colorways in this sweater. For the main body I alternated every other row in two different colorways (remember that I only have 2 skeins of each color of yarn!), and the lacey edging in the third color. It all came out very beachy looking, and reminds me of the sand at home, and the teeny tiny shells we'd occasionally find, with their pale pink and purple interiors. Hence, the Seashore Sweater.

As usual, the pictures aren't the best, but eh. We're neither of us photographers!

Well Jovs since we talked about how gorgeous this sweater is this AM, I'll go on to other subjects.
I so enjoy all the photos (surprise!) Your Kiwi birds and Liel's bag are sooo cute and professional.
I took the regional test and to my surprise I only came out a yank by 39%! It was fun.

I like the center colorway (is that the correct terminology?) in contrast to the main body of the sweater. It's fun.
I think knitted night pants would be fun. For winter fires with tea or something.

Sweater is gorgeous and the colors are perfect. I can totally see why it reminds you of the beach.

i would like to point out that

a) without me, jovi might never have _truly_ understood the magic of two-toned awesome

and

b) neither i nor my photographic skills are at fault for jovi's systematic refusal to smile when the camera is fake-shuttering.
